We were contracted to develop the concept and design for the new room of this small suburban church.
The youth room was in the basement, so naturally a "rooftop" was the perfect concept choice. (Insert irony here.) We decided to flip the script for the setting and create an urban rooftop atmosphere with an "outdoor" stage and skyline view, and an adjacent cafe.
The project included hand-rendered sketches for fund-raising, as well as execution of the large-format graphics.
As the finishing touch for room, we commissioned a series of original art from Stellar Propeller Studio in Denver, CO to visualize the youth group's theme verse. To supplement the art, Allison recorded video for each piece to expound on them for the kids.
On a personal note, It was an honor to be part of this massive team effort in a church where I served as a youth volunteer for nearly 17 years.
